The Cannes Creative Leaders Programme (CCLP) is arguably the best way to make the most of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Curated by our academic experts, the CCLP combines a unique four-day learning environment prior to the main event, a full-week festival delegate pass with additional, exclusive sessions presented by top industry leaders, VIP access to the Cannes Lions Opening & Closing Galas, and more. 

For 2019, the CCLP will continue to reflect and enable leadership of current and future challenges, with a specific focus on Leading Brand Experience: Connecting the dots between Brand Culture, Client Centricity, and Creative Leadership.

Since 2010, the Berlin School has teamed up with Cannes Lions to offer a premiere learning experience at one of the most significant global awards for the creative industries.

Programme Overview

From June 13 - 21, 2019

At the Berlin School, we believe products and services provide experiences, while culture and relationships shape a brand. In building, and growing a brand‘s culture, leading it’s creative excellence, integrity, clarity, authenticity, heritage, and differentiation, creative leaders must unleash the full potential of the actions and interactions that connect clients and consumers with a brand that delivers on its purpose.

As technologies, work practices, and social shifts provide new and more engaging ways to interact with clients and customers, what is the impact on leadership practice? How can creative business leaders connect the dots between strategy, technology, and creative environments (driven by people and processes), to truly liberate and capture greater value in every experience?

The CCLP 2019 will collectively answer these questions by examining proven leadership and strategic approaches to brand experience, while applying client-centric thinking to create and commit to a value-driven future.

Learning Outcomes

Inspired by insight from both Berlin School contributors and masterclasses with industry experts, participants will understand the paradigm shifts taking place in the way value is being captured and consumed, today. They will explore this topic in terms of strategy, technology, and creative environments, while examining potential new ways to engage with a full constellation of stakeholders, learning the impact that those relationships can have on current business models that aspire to advance 'client-centricity' and 'leading brand experience'.

By practicing with robust tools and techniques, and diving deep into reference case studies as well as their own current business challenges, participants will simulate how to problem-solve effectively to discover the root causes of business issues.

The outcome will be the development of effective skillsets to lead their organizations and clients on transformational journeys, based on optimized relationships- and experience-roadmaps produced during the programme.
