The Best Leadership Classroom at Cannes Lions

Cannes Creative Leaders Programme

June 18 - 26, 2020
Cannes, France

Since 2010, every year, the Berlin School has teamed up with Cannes Lions to offer a premiere learning experience at one of the most significant global awards for the creative industries.

The Cannes Creative Leaders Programme (CCLP) - an intensive leadership programme - is arguably the best way to make the most of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Curated by our academic experts, the CCLP combines a unique four-day learning environment prior to the main event, a full-week festival delegate pass with additional, exclusive closed-door sessions presented by top industry leaders, VIP access to the Cannes Lions Closing Gala, and more.

The 2019 edition brought together 24 creative minds from 14 countries, working for agencies, consultancies, and corporations around the globe. Throughout the programme, our new Berliners will took over the Berlin School social media platforms to share their insights and experiences with the world. Follow the #CCLP2019 activities below!

Programme Overview

A Strategic Educational Framework to Boost Team’s Creativity

The CCLP gives participants the framework to connect their festival insights to real business challenges and questions. Cannes Lions already offers a wealth of insight and ideas from the spotlight of the stage. The CCLP breaks down this fourth wall, with access to a vibrant classroom of creative minds, opportunities for personal instruction, and closed-door sessions with award-winning experts from the Cannes Lions stage, allowing participants to truly connect these insights back to real business goals. The programme´s unique formula invites a selected group of like-minded participants, to learn and ask burning questions from leading experts against the ideal landscape for learning, networking and leading change.

At a time in which leading creatively, fostering creative teams and nurturing creative organizational cultures are essential to compete, what is the impact on leadership practice? How can creative business leaders connect the dots between strategy, technology, and creative environments to truly liberate and capture value in every experience?

At CCLP 2019, participants collect and connect the dots on “Leading Brand Experience” to collectively answer these questions by examining proven leadership practices and strategic approaches to brand experience, while applying client-centric thinking to create and commit to a value-driven future.

If this sounds like the next step for you and your organization, make sure to register your interest below and receive valuable information about CCLP 2020.

WHAT OUR GRADUATES SAY

“The programme was a catalyst to understand how to maintain trust and build the kind of client relationships we wanted where we were not simply viewed as a provider. For this kind of relationship, trust is key.”

Listen Now

“The conversations that happen in that room of creative leaders from all over the world - for me that was magical. The open and dynamic discussion of the value of creativity, the business imperative of advertising, the economic and social dynamics that are shaping brands, and how we evolve responsibly into the new global market. I mean, you want to be in that room.”

Listen Now

“One of my main take-aways from the programme was ‘thinking like a consultancy’. Since the programme, we have won some major pitches using this point of view. Not only thinking about the creative concept, but really showing business results for the client. It made us outstanding amongst other agencies, and I’m very thankful for that.”

Each year, a new topic is selected in alignment with the festival´s curation, and the programme content is built from the Berlin School’s distinctive foundations in Creative Business Leadership.
