I’m a pirate. No, I’m the captain of the pirates. I challenge the system and the processes. A creative, a planner, PR, a producer, a chief convincing officer who breaks all the rules to make ideas happen. I’m like my son: a “no” means “yes”. I lead creatives who care about social injustices.
I won almost all the awards you could think of: from more than 35 lions in Cannes, including GP, gold, silver and bronze, to Best of Show, Clio, Webbys… But I’m still chasing a Nobel nomination. I’ll get there.
I lived in many countries, I speak 4 languages: From advertising to interactive, from art direction to coding. I studied around the world: Hyper Island/Stockholm, Miami Ad School Brazil, London and NY and ESPM/Brasil.
I never stopped learning and finding new ways of solving problems. World problems. That’s it. I’m a f. problem solver.
My global work experience includes being an art director at The Vidal Partnership in NY, Saatchi in London, and Duda Mendonça in Brazil. From there I became an interactive associate creative director at GlobalWorks in NY and at G2 Creative Studio in Beijing. The next step was to be a creative director and leader of the pirate team (a collective of creatives who care about social injustices. The team identifies problems, ideates creative solutions, and works to make relationships with government officials, business partners, and vendors to make ideas realities) at Ogilvy in NY. Nowadays, I am the SVP Global Group Creative Director and Chief Convincing Officer at Edelman in New York.
Before discovering my passion for advertising, I worked in marketing at Microsoft/Brazil and as bank manager at Unibanco.
