Laura founded her company Limo, Inc in 2007, and it has since grown to have 20 employees. She has worked with several major clients such as Nike, Heineken, Kraft Foods, and Fiat. Her company’s major projects include producing a documentary about the two biggest revenue-generating cities in Brazil, evaluation of global branding propositions versus local opportunities, and developing insights and branding propositions among Latin American teens. Her work has garnered Brazil’s Young Lions Award in the planning category, and she has served as a jury member for multiple other award festivals.
Having grown her company over the last several years through hard work and on-the-job experience, Laura is coming to the Berlin School of Creative Leadership to take her company to the next level. “I must get ready to take on additional management responsibilities, expand the dialogue with clients, lead a larger work team and maintain Limo’s trajectory of growth and innovation. I believe that the content and the exchange environment of this MBA is going to be fruitful and challenging to meet this purpose”.
Before founding Limo, Inc, Laura worked as a Senior Planner and Planning Director for several agencies, including Young and Rubican, AlmapBBDO, and Fischer America. She was also the Academic Coordinator and a Professor at the Bootcamp for Account Planners of Miami Ad School São Paulo. Laura received her Bachelors in Social Sciences at the University of São Paulo.
