Based in New York since 2017, Laura is Managing Partner at sparks & honey, a consultancy that helps organizations to visualize and embrace disruption through tech-led cultural intelligence. She leads a portfolio of clients, driving the business transformation practice.
Prior to her current position, she worked as Chief Strategy Officer at Tribal New York, building a high-performing, cross-functional team and bringing together strategists from search, social media, brand planning, data and e-commerce. She also led strategic, digital and creative projects with the agency's main clients: Mars (3 Musketeers, Milky Way, Extra, Royal Canin and IAMS) and Pfizer Consumer Healthcare (Advil, Nexium, Robitussin, Centrum, and Thermacare). During her tenure with Tribal, Laura was recognized by the industry as a “Woman to Watch Brazil 2018”, as a member of the innovation jury of the Lisbon International Advertising Festival 2018, Mentor of the “See It, Be It” program in Cannes Lions 2018 and, most recently, as a member of the executive jury of the Gerety Awards 2019. In addition, Laura played a strategic role on the Robitussin's creative work which was recognized by the clients' internal awards and by the Effies North America jury.
Having an entrepreneurial mindset, she founded her own company in 2007, working with several major clients such as Nike, Heineken, Kraft Foods, and Fiat. She also worked as a Senior Planner and Planning Director for several agencies, including Young & Rubicam, AlmapBBDO and Fischer America. Her work has garnered Brazil’s Young Lions Award in the planning category and she has served as a jury member for multiple other award festivals.
Laura received her Bachelor's in Social Sciences at the University of São Paulo and is always involved with education.
