Denis manages a team of 20 people and also serves as the VP of programming, acquisitions, and original production for AMEDIA. He launched the operations of AMEDIA Pay TV & VOD service, including 3 TV channels – AMEDIA Premium (HBO, Showtime, STARZ and other premium content home in Russia), AMEDIA1, AMEDIA 2 (Pay Basic channels) & AMEDIATEKA (SVOD service).
Denis came to the Berlin School of Creative Leadership to freshen up his ideas of how to move his media company into the future and compete in a more global landscape. "I need fresh air, new ideas and moreover a challenge. That is why I have decided to continue my studies and upgrade my professional development with international Executive MBA in Media."
Denis has more than 10 years experience in the Russian and international TV & media business. Starting as a manager in marketing and sales at Channel One Russia, he then continued as a Programming & Acquisitions manager at Viasat Broadcasting UK before joining AMEDIA. He received a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Economics from Saratov State Socio-Economic University and went on to obtain a PhD in Economics.
