Barry Mowszowski is Marketing Director of Faethm, a Sydney-based predictive analytics platform, driving economic and social value from emerging technologies. Faethm’s purpose is to navigate the world's business and government leaders through strategic change, posed by automation and robotics.
A proud recipient of the Contagious Berlin School Scholarship, Barry said he came to the Berlin School of Creative Leadership to help source ideas from around the world:
“The Berlin School is a once in a lifetime experience to recalibrate your mind in collaboration with a class of inspired and driven creatively-minded people sourced from around the world. I'm excited for this new adventure and cannot wait for the start of the first module in September 2013 in Berlin.”
In 2016, Barry presented his Executive MBA thesis in New York, which focussed on "The impact of organisational purpose on people, profit & culture”.
Looking back on his Berlin School journey, Barry says the experience has armed him “with the intellectual grounding to navigate the ambiguity of today’s rapidly evolving marketplace which demands new forms of brand and commercial strategies.”
Before joining Faethm, Barry Mowszowski was Strategy Director for OMD Sydney, the second biggest media agency in Australia, leading overseas communications strategy, partnering with Directors of Insights, and other specialist business units. Barry has over 20 years of experience in creative, media and digital agencies in San Francisco, NYC and Sydney. He has presented keynotes at the Apple Store Sydney, Creative Sydney, Deloitte Women and Innovation forum and Westpac executive management retreat sessions, among others.
Barry describes his career as “built on collaborating with smart, tenacious people to build brand experiences that drive profit and ideally social purpose.”
