Alexandra is originally from Romania, she studied Sociology and Social Anthropology in Romania, then completed her graduate studies in Denmark and Hungary. She started her professional career in International Student Recruitment, working for an American university that welcomed students from more than 110 countries every year. Working in such a multi-cultural environment, with students spanning five continents, represented a formative period for Alexandra, where she tried different roles as part of the Recruitment team. This lead to her being actively involved in the promotion, sales and marketing of more than 50 graduate programs. She gained experience by working closely with the Admissions and Communications teams. She also learned a lot from working directly with faculty and students while developing strategies for engaging the alumni community.
Before moving to Berlin and joining the Berlin School in summer 2016, Alexandra was also involved in social activism and academic research.
