Your Next Step in Creative Leadership – Executive Education Courses
Our compact non-degree programs provide creative leaders and senior executives from industry, associations, federations, festivals and other organizations with exciting learning experiences that are rich, interactive and blended. Participants take part in strategy sessions and simulations that focus on problem-solving and ideation – the skills that in the long run build confidence, help you align initiatives more effectively, and implement approaches that are both flexible and robust.
Cannes Creative Leaders Programme 2017
Leaders in today’s creative industries face an array of challenges and opportunities: new business models, innovative practices for managing creative organizations, as well as rapidly changing technologies and relationships with consumers.
Our custom modules always focus on direct implementation in daily practices. And in our universe, ‘custom’ isn’t just another word for elite or business-class. Customized executive education isn’t about repackaging. Because every client comes to us with a very individual situation, tailored programs demand a creativity all their own. Even so, the DNA of everything we do shines consistently through our program design.
Even the most elaborate Berlin School custom program begins with three deceptively simple steps: First we listen. Second we understand. And third we collaborate – challenging participants to rethink the way the right interventions can impact their business. Through highly interactive sessions that are built around specific cases, simulations, plenary discussions and work in facilitated small-team groups, participants in our custom programs learn to implement new frameworks that are immediately actionable. Our meaningful and lasting interventions will resonate with your staff both emotionally and in terms of ROI. Even in the short term, they invariably have a positive effect on the bottom line.
If you ask our clients about the role we play in their organizations, you’ll quickly discover that we are far more than just a vendor of services. We are trusted advisors, and often continue to supply companies with solutions long after their initial needs have been addressed. Implementing an approach often requires tools and resources that are not always available in-house. That’s why the Berlin School also provides core consulting services to clients in creative industries who are in the midst of organizational and cultural change.
Our creative consultants bring a broad spectrum of relevant skills to your boardroom or project. By combining cross-industry understanding, training and coaching skills with academic insights and sensitively engineered scenarios, Berlin School experts help you achieve tailored, holistic solutions that bring results. Our palette of services includes a full range of focused, unique interventions in the areas of strategic consulting, C-level coaching and interactive creativity workshops.
We are also poised to act as trusted consultants through every conceivable stage of your process – from scoping and diagnostic services to visioning and strategic road mapping. In many cases, we are able not only to advise, but also to play a direct role in making your changes happen the way you want them to – whether through key events and supporting activities, or by helping you execute concepts in Human Change Management, Business Development or Value Proposition Creation.

"Can the Berlin School design programs be aligned with my company’s strategy?"
Yes! Each and every one of our customized programs is set up to ensure that our content is tailored to your organization’s strategy, directly relevant to your participants’ jobs and roles, and integrated with your strategic objectives. Together we discuss and define your desired outcomes in-depth long before your program takes place. This collaborative approach gives you control over the metrics for evaluating the positive long-term impact a Berlin School design program has.
"How does the Berlin School customize its programs to match my company’s objectives?"
Customizing a program begins with you. The first step in our partnership is conducting a thorough needs assessment. Among other measures, this includes a number of interviews with key senior management stakeholders at your company, as well as with members of the group participating in a prospective program and other relevant individuals in your organization.
"How can I schedule a free needs assessment session?"
To schedule a free needs assessment session, please contact: execed(at)berlin-school.com or directly call +49 (0)30 884 980 89.
"Do you also provide custom programs for associations, member organizations or professional conferences?"
Yes! We frequently partner with associations and membership organizations at both national and international levels to offer best-in-class learning opportunities among targeted peer groups. If you are the head of a trade association or the director of a prominent industry event looking to offer something special, Berlin School programs can provide your members and delegates with a truly unique added-value learning experience.
"How do I register for an Executive Education course?"
To register, please fill out the registration form linked to each course. After submitting your registration form, you will be contacted by a member of our team with further instructions. Once payment has been received, your slot in the course will be confirmed at least four weeks prior to its starting date.
"When is the deadline for registration?"
As a general rule for our open programs, the deadline for registration is one month prior to the date the course is scheduled to begin. If you are interested in a seminar where a registration deadline has already passed, please contact email@example.com to find out if there is still space available.
"Do I have to pay VAT?"
Executive Education Programs offered in Germany are subject to a 19% German VAT surcharge (Mehrwertsteuer). According to EU Reverse Charge regulations, EU participants who provide us with tax identification numbers are not subject to VAT charges. Non-EU participants must pay the VAT up front, but can reclaim charges via representatives such as Tevea International. The original paid invoice is crucial to any VAT reclamation, so you will need your original paid invoice to reclaim VAT. Copies of the invoice are not accepted for VAT reimbursement. If you need assistance recouping VAT, please contact: accounts(at)berlin-school.com.
"Cancellation policy: What if I register for a course and my plans change?"
If you notify the Berlin School at least 30 business days before the official starting date of your scheduled seminar, you can receive either full credit for a future seminar or a full refund.
Notification less than 30 business days prior to the start of your scheduled seminar date – you can receive either full credit for a future event (minus a €100 cancellation fee) or a refund less a €500 cancellation fee.
Notification fewer than 5 business days before the start of your scheduled seminar – you can receive full credit for a future event, but there is a €750 cancellation fee.
"Rescheduling policy: What happens if a program has to be rescheduled?"
In the rare event that an Executive Education course must be rescheduled, participants who are unable to attend on the new dates will either receive full credit for a future seminar or a full refund.
