Business Law and Ethics

Entrepreneurs and other creative leaders can face a wide range of legal and ethical issues in areas as diverse as civil procedure, contracts, torts, agency, employment, business forms, property and debtor/creditor rights – not to mention IP and rights questions in creative sectors like design, music, art and film. This course goes into those questions in-depth, and also looks at tax regulations for individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates and trusts. Using real-life examples and case studies, participants learn to avoid common mistakes and legal problems, and explore the major models for ethical decision-making that are at the heart of creative leadership.
