Write a Winning Scholarship Application

Scholarship season has returned and we want to hear from you!

This year we are excited to hear from applicants who can demonstrate their potential as a leader, are successful in their industry and can craft an original and challenging answer to the scholarship question. That said, we know that writing about yourself and your own achievements comes with its own set of challenges.

Here are a few tips on drafting a winning scholarship application:

1. Don’t leave it until deadline day

This may be the oldest trick in the book, but give yourself plenty of time to review and reflect on your answer before the deadline date.

2. Make it about you!

Before you put pen to paper, question your approach. Remember we are looking to get to know your unique qualities as a leader, and the kind of energy you would bring to the classroom.

3. Be passionate

Every participant and speaker on our MBA program is brought together by a shared passion for innovation and learning. Let your passion shine through in your application.

4. Challenge us

The next wave of creatives will be led by those to dare to think outside the box. If you’ve got an answer that will push the boat out, don’t be afraid to put your name to it.

5. Get a second pair of eyes

Even with a spellchecker, we all let the occasional error fall through the cracks. Printing your response will give you a fresh perspective, and it never hurts to get a second pair of eyes on your work.

If you have any questions about your application, don’t hesitate to get in touch with our admissions team. Best of luck!
