Berlin School of Creative Leadership
Sheridan Johns is a member of the founding Berlin School management team and has extensive experience providing degree and non-degree executive-level leadership programs for the creative industries.
Relocating from New York to Berlin in 2005, Sheridan oversaw the development and launch of the Berlin School’s inaugural global executive MBA in Creative Leadership program in 2006.
Since 2006 Sheridan has worked extensively with the Berlin School's international network of industry practitioners and academic instructors to solidify and expand the Berlin School's program offerings and activities into new markets and industry sectors.
Sheridan's experience includes designing and delivering executive-level degree programs in Berlin (Steinbeis University) as well as internationally with partners in Chicago (Kellogg School of Management), Los Angeles (UCLA Anderson School of Business), New York (NYU Stern), Tokyo (Hitotsubashi University) and Shanghai.
Sheridan also has experience advising, designing and delivering open and custom executive-level programs for corporate clients including, Cannes Lions, ESPM, Grey, McDonald's and Microsoft Advertising.
Sheridan currently oversees new business development, custom executive education programs, international program marketing and special program operations.
Before joining the Berlin School, Sheridan was a strategic advisor to international entertainment and media companies including Bertelsmann and Cinetic Media and also developed and produced feature-length theatrical films acquired for distribution by major motion picture studios including Disney and Sony Pictures.
Between 2000-01 Sheridan was a Robert Bosch Fellow in Berlin and Brussels and in 1994-95 he was awarded a William J. Fulbright Award to research the privatization of German dual broadcasting system.
Sheridan earned a B.A. from Denison University and a M.A. from Johns Hopkins University School of Advances International Studies (SAIS). Sheridan was born and raised in Durham, North Carolina, USA.
