About the lecture
The man who put Nick Kamen into a laundrette for Levi Strauss and gave Audi the immortal 'Vorsprung durch Technik', amongst many, many other highly successful campaigns for major brands, will discuss in this Berlin School President's lecture some of the ideas and insights published in his new book, 'Hegarty on Advertising - Turning Intelligence into Magic'. This book, one that no creative professional should be without, the 21st-century answer to David Ogilvy's bestselling Confessions of an Advertising Man, provides both John's advice on the elements of advertising and the story of his career from his early days working with Charles Saatchi to the global force that Bartle, Bogle, Hegarty is today. The lecture will address some of the all important questions in advertising and draw from the wisdom and experience accumulated during Sir John's extraordinary story spanning over four decades in the business.
We very much look forward to seeing you at the Berlin School for what promises to be an exciting event delivered by one of the world's leading advertising figures. Copies of the book will be available at the event for signing.
