Lürzer's Archive Creative Leadership Scholarship Winner Announced

The Berlin School is pleased to congratulate Midori Ikematsu as the winner of the “Lürzer's Archive Creative Leadership Scholarship.”

Midori embodies the spirit of the the Lürzer's Archive scholarship, which was created for senior creative executives with a strong track record of success in their field. With 31 years of experience in the creative industry, 15 as a creative director and having worked the last four at Japan’s leading advertising agency, Dentsu Razorfish,  Midori will undoubtedly be a valuable addition to the Berlin School’s September class of 2011.

“There is no place and time more suitable than the Berlin School to pursue my quest for creative leadership at this point in my life,” said Midori. “I’m a firm believer that true creative chemical reactions happen when creative minds from different cultures and backgrounds come together in a positive environment that invites new thoughts and ideas.”

Through the generous support of Lürzer’s Archive, the scholarship offers a leader in the creative field 30,000 euro in financial support for the Berlin School EMBA, which consists of five two-week modules to be completed across two years around the world (Berlin, New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo and Shanghai).

“We wanted a true leader in their field to have the chance to further their learning, test their knowledge and brainstorm new ideas with other leaders in the creative industry,” said Lürzer’s Archive. “As a professional who has already accomplished much in her career, we are excited to see what new industry-changing project Midori will help create during her time at the Berlin School.”

The next EMBA program start module is scheduled for March 18-31, 2012 in Berlin. Applications for early admission are due december 15th.
