Sergio Alcocer Wins AdAge Award

LatinWorks, the Austin advertising agency, led by Berlin School Alumnus Sergio Alcocer, has received another distinction: they have been named "Multicultural Agency of the Year 2009" by Advertising Age.

"I'm happy to share with you that my agency, LatinWorks, has been named Multicultural Agency of the Year in the USA," Sergio wrote us in an email commenting on the announcement. "I cannot underestimate the role that the school had on me during the last two years. You are doing something great."

Sergio, who is President and Chief Creative Officer at Latin Works, also seems to be doing something great at LatinWorks: from the recent Advertising Age article: "Sergio, Sergio, Sergio," said Russell Weiner, exec VP and chief marketing officer of another LatinWorks client, Domino's Pizza. "I'm such a Sergio fan. He's a big part of the special sauce."
