Gough & Fey Join Board of Governors
John Gough & Christoph Fey Join the Berlin School of Creative Leadership Board of Governors.
The Berlin School of Creative Leadership is pleased to announce that two leaders in the global entertainment industry, John Gough and Christoph Fey, will be joining the Berlin School Board of Governors.

“John and Christoph will strengthen the interdisciplinary thought and diversity of our board, especially concerning television formatting and programming,” said Michael Conrad, President, The Berlin School. “The success of the school depends on the different countries and industries that our participants and board represent, and we have added some wonderful professionals with global reputations." The Berlin School board is comprised of leaders from a range of creative industries, including media, journalism, design, interactive and advertising.
Both new board members have a unique position in the entertainment industry. John Gough is the former Director of Creative and Business Affairs of Distraction Formats Ltd. in London and a director of Fundamental Entertainment Television Ltd. Over the past 11 years John has established a broad base of experience in the television format business including active involvement in the organization of the Golden Rose Festival where he has been secretary of the Advisory Board and the Festival’s ambassador in the UK. John is an honorary member of the British Society of Comedy Writers and is a member of BAFTA. He is currently the Head of Programme for the Entertainment Master Class.
Christoph Fey is an attorney with the media law firm Unverzagt Von Have in Berlin, advising in the fields of intellectual property and entertainment law. Christoph represents a number of film and television writers, directors, producers, broadcasters and distributors. From 2002 to 2005, Christoph acted as Managing Director of FRAPA - the Format Recognition and Protection Association and has been invited to sit on juries at the Gold Nymph Awards, the Rose d’Or Awards and the International Emmy Awards. Christoph is Member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, Advisory Board Member of the Rose d’Or Festival, Member of the Board of Governors at the Berlin School for Creative Leadership, Head of Studies at the Media Plus Programme ‘Essential Legal Framework’ of the European Commission, and Director of Studies for the Entertainment Master Class.
