Changes to the Academic Structure

The new year brings an exciting development to the Berlin School’s academic leadership structure with the creation of Academic Advisory Board, chaired by Sudhir Venkatesh.

“The board will allow us to expand our faculty presence,“ said Venkatesh. “It will be invested with insuring that high-caliber faculty are recruited and that the School not only stays abreast of but also generates ideas, innovations and developments in the creative industries.“

The five-member board will also include the School’s Faculty Director of Programs & Education David Slocum, former Academic Director Doug Guthrie, Professors Stuart Dixon and Robert Weisz and the School’s Thesis and Research Advisor Shamus Khan. The Chair will rotate every two years in order to ensure input from multiple sources.

The Board’s core function will be to provide guidance to the Berlin-based management team on governance issues and ensure the students and participants have an enriching, career-developing experience at the Berlin School of Creative Leadership.
