Sheridan Johns brings extensive strategic project management experience to his role as Director of the Berlin School of Creative Leadership, a non-profit institute providing executive leadership education to the creative industries.
Biography
Relocating from New York to Berlin in 2005, Sheridan played a key role in the initial development and launch of the Berlin School’s flagship global executive MBA in Creative Leadership program in 2006. Since then Sheridan has been central in expanding Berlin School program offerings, maximizing the strengths of the institute’s network of leading international industry practitioners and extending the brand’s reach into new markets and industry sectors. Sheridan has experience designing and delivering multiple-week EMBA modules in Berlin, Chicago (with Kellogg School of Management), Los Angeles (with UCLA Anderson School of Business), New York (with NYU Stern) , Tokyo (with Hitotsubashi University) and Shanghai as well as selling, designing and delivering custom executive education programs in Cannes (Cannes Lions) and London (Microsoft).
Sheridan currently oversees new business development, custom executive education programs, international program marketing and special program operations. Previously, Sheridan worked for Cinetic Media, a leading provider of strategic advisory services to the entertainment and media industries, as well as major media and entertainment companies including Bertelsmann Media. He earned a B.A. from Denison University and a M.A. from Johns Hopkins University School of Advances International Studies (SAIS). Sheridan was awarded a William J. Fulbright Award in 1995 and the Robert Bosch Fellowship in 2000. Sheridan was born and raised in Durham, North Carolina.
