The Executive MBA in Creative Leadership is an innovative executive MBA program that brings together visionary thinkers and respected leaders from the media industry, entertainment, advertising, marketing and academia.
This 18 month, part-time global program (80 days total) focuses on strategy, innovation, change management, and executive leadership skills. Coursework is designed to meet the needs of creative executives and inspire new management thinking about future communication and leadership practices. The program is organized into six two-week modules in Berlin, Chicago, New York and Tokyo.
By working in close collaboration with leading international professors, creative leaders and established research organizations participants are guaranteed outstanding academic depth and access to valuable quantitative resources for quality leadership and communication research. The program includes a two-week module in Chicago, hosted by the Media Management Center, which is affiliated with the Kellogg School of Management and Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
Based on six pillars of leadership unique to the creative industry, the executive MBA program is designed to provide creative executives from a variety of different backgrounds with the instruments to master essential leadership skills - skills that will empower them to implement higher standards in their industry.
Thesis project: During the 18 month program each participant will work on a formal thesis aimed at rethinking communication as we know it and establishing new standards in the creative industries. Individual thesis projects are reviewed by Berlin School faculty and subsequently selected by Steinbeis University for publication in established academic and scientific journals.
