Prof. Olivier Tabatoni


Position: Finance and Strategy, IAE Aix-en-Provence School of Management

Short vita: Olivier Tabatoni is a professor and researcher in Finance and Strategy at the IAE Aix-en-Provence School of management, University of Aix-Marseille, France.

Formerly associate Dean of IAE Aix-en-Provence, he has served as academic director of many International training programs in consortia with leading business schools and training organizations. He is presently director of the IAE Specialized MBA program.

Tabatoni has been a visiting professor at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University (USA). He has taught in numerous MBA / Executive MBA programs and academic training programs throughout the world including WHU Koblenz (Germany), Tilburg University (Netherlands), and Euro Arab Management School (Grenada, Spain).

Tabatoni has been a consultant for international firms and he regularly designs, directs and holds in-company training programs targeting high potentials, junior and senior executives. Some of the companies he has recently worked with include: Alcatel, BASF, British Petroleum, Club Méditerranée, Deloitte and Touche, EADS, GKN Automotive, ING Bank, Schneider Electric?

His current teaching and research interest focus on value creation and financial risk management, options on real assets, and more generally on profitable growth, strategy and change management.

Tabatoni holds a BA in Economics and a Doctorate in management from the University of Aix-Marseille. With the support of a Ford Foundation scholarship, he received a Ph.D. in Finance and Quantitative Analysis from the Stern School of Management, New York University, (USA).
