Alvas Onguru has joined Ogilvy East Africa
News of his move comes during Berlin School Module 2 in Chicago and New York.
Alvas Onguru (Berlin School class of 2008-2009) has joined Ogilvy East Africa as a Creative Director. At Ogilvy Alvas will build on his past work on world-class brands such as Coca-Cola, Mercedes Benz, Celtel, Virgin Atlantic Airlines, Kenya Tourism Board, Multichoice Africa, General Motors, Energizer Batteries, Nestle, Kenya Airways, Caltex, Tetra Pak, Mobil Oil, Peugeot, Nissan, Nivea and the British Council.
Alvas shared his thoughts on his move to Ogilvy and the lessons of the Berlin School he has been able to apply there:
"I've been at Ogilvy just one week. And even within this short time, it is amazing to see just how much impact the leadership lessons I've picked from the Berlin School are having on my interaction with my team here, and the subsequent results my team are producing. I'm looking forward to the "learn and do" from the Berlin School to help Ogilvy Kenya transition into a truly global agency."
